In this course, Dr. Rona Novick, Dean of Azrieli Graduate School, and Clinical Psychologist, takes us through strategies to raise our children to be strong, sensitive, and socially responsible, with a special focus on bullying, Dr. Novick's area of specialty.

  As parents, we all want to better understand the challenges our children face. In this course, we will tackle various religious topics to help understand what our children go through. I will share many ideas and tips on how to help our children navigate and grow in their religious commitment. Rabbi David Schlusselberg is a teacher and the Mashgiach Ruchani at the Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School in Livingston, NJ.  He has been working with teenagers in formal and informal settings for over 15 years.  Rabbi Schlusselberg obtained Semicha from Yeshiva University, and has a master's degree in Jewish education from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education.

In this second talk, Rebbetzin Hauer talks about approaching the seder as parents. It gives perspective on the seder itself, then discusses how to plan for a seder that is meaningful for each child, then offers a seder game idea to engage children of all ages in the seder. Enjoy!

She received her BA. in History from Queens College and her MS. in Communication Sciences from Hunter College. Adina is the founder of ParentingSimply.com. She delivers parenting classes as well as professional development workshops for Speech Pathologists, Teachers and other health professionals. Her classes focus on the art of effective communication at home and in school. She offers strategies that support character development, confidence, and resilience in children of all ages and abilities. Her live and online parenting classes give moms and dads the language and strategies to create a nurturing and structured home environment.

Learn about the the power of influence on parenting with Rebbetzin Mindi Hauer. Rebbetzin Mindi Hauer was an active shul Rebbetzin for twenty six years. She teaches Chumash to adults at the Women’s Institute of Torah and is an instructor at Machon Ohr Yehudis - Women’s Institute of Torah Seminary. She teaches and guides mothers on parenting issues through her Respectful Parenting Chaburah network.
